Under Security, turn on the Biometric login switch. Your phone immediately asks for your face or fingerprint; the switch only turns on once that succeeds.
What it does
- The app locks. When you open the app, and when it has been in the background for more than a few minutes, it first asks for your face or fingerprint. If that doesn't work, you can always still sign in with your password.
- You stay signed in for a year. Normally you have to sign in again every now and then. With biometrics on, SwingIQ keeps your session for a year — because the app itself is locked.
That long session only starts the next time you sign in with your password after turning the switch on. Until then, biometrics already protects the app, but the normal session length still applies. So log out and back in once if you want the benefit right away.
Turning it off
Turn the switch off; that works without confirmation. The app then no longer asks for your face or fingerprint, and from the next sign-in the normal session length applies again.
Good to know
- The setting belongs to this device and this account. Another account on the same phone has its own choice.
- If the switch is greyed out, your phone has no face or fingerprint recognition set up. Set it up first in the system settings.
- Your password doesn't change here; you change that on the site.
