Log out is at the bottom of Settings, under Account. There is no confirmation prompt.
What happens
Your session on this device ends; you land on the sign-in screen. Other devices where you're signed in stay signed in.
Everything you recorded and changed is on the server and is there again after you sign in — on this device or another.
Syncing and fetching notifications stop.
Your offline package stays on the phone, shielded per account. If you sign in again with the same account later, nothing needs to be downloaded again. Another account on the same phone can't access it.
Changes that were still waiting for a connection (a best shot chosen, a swing deleted while you were offline) are kept with your account on this device and still go to the server as soon as you sign in again and have a connection.
A recording that was already uploading finishes that upload.
Device settings (recording, playback, weekly goal) stay; they belong to the phone, not to the account.
When you don't need to log out
- Staying signed in for a year is possible with biometric sign-in; see biometric sign-in and the long session.
- Switching accounts on the same phone: log out and sign in with the other account; both keep their own package.
Good to know
- You can log out without a connection in the app, but afterwards you can only sign in again once you have a connection. Until then you can't reach your offline package either.
- If you want your data gone, logging out isn't enough; for that there's deleting your account.
Sign out is in the account menu at the top right.

When you don't need to log out
- You don't have to log out to change language or change your password — although the site does log you out itself after a password change.
