Delete account is at the bottom of Settings, under Account. The app asks for confirmation twice: first with an explanation, then Are you sure? with the button Delete my account.
What happens immediately
- Your account is closed: all golfers, all videos, all analyses and all users of the account. It isn't a deletion of just your golfer.
- You are logged out on every device, including on the site. Signing in is no longer possible.
What happens after 30 days
Thirty days after the deletion, everything is permanently erased: videos, analyses, 3D models, notifications, share requests and the account data. Your marks disappear then too, even those on videos you shared with others, and your contributions to the community. After that, nothing can be recovered.
Undoing it
You can't undo it yourself. Within those 30 days, our support can restore the account; contact us via the site for that. After the 30 days, the account is gone.
What remains
- Copies you shared are with the recipient and stay there; they belong to their account.
- Videos that others shared with you stay with them: they keep their original, only your copy disappears.
Good to know
- If you only want to be logged out on this device, logging out is enough.
- If you want a smaller subscription, you don't have to delete your account; see my subscription.
