Corrected advice

What the pen icon next to a piece of advice means, and when it disappears again.

iPhone · Android · Website

Sometimes a small pen icon sits next to a piece of advice. It means the wording of that advice has been changed: by your pro, or by Swing IQ. Tap or click the icon to see who.

What does and does not change

  • Only the words are different. The measurement itself, the colours, the dots and the step's number are exactly as the player computed them.
  • A change applies to this one piece of advice on this one swing. Other swings get their own text.
  • Your pro can only change the advice of their own students. A shared swing stays the way its owner sees it.

When the icon disappears

The player rebuilds the advice whenever something about the comparison changes: a different best shot, a new version of the analysis, or a different language or handicap in your settings. The changed text belongs to the old comparison and is no longer shown. Your pro sees that and can change the text again if it still applies.

A note from your pro

Sometimes a separate card "From your pro" sits with your swing. That is not a corrected advice but your pro's own note, for example what you will practise. It stays, even when the advice is regenerated.
