As a pro you can polish the wording of a piece of advice: the title and the sentence, and for an insight also the cue. The measurement stays what it is; only the text changes. This works on the swings of your own golfers, not on a swing shared with you or one from the community.
- Open your student's swing and tap a dot. The card has a button to change the text.
- Change the title and the sentence and tap save. To get the original text back, choose to restore the original.
- You change the summary and the common thread on the classic playback screen, with the same button.
What your student sees
Your student sees your text in place of the old one, with a small pen icon. Tapping it says that their pro changed it. The dots, the colours and the step's number do not change.
Good to know
- Saving works without a connection too. The text is on your device at once and goes out as soon as there is a connection again.
- Left and right stay as seen from the golfer, with the ball as the reference. Keep that when you rewrite a sentence.
- Do not put measured values, drills or verdicts in the text; the app warns about those, but does not stop you.
- When the advice is regenerated, for instance after a different best shot, your change lapses. You can make it again afterwards if it still applies.
- The fixed sentences that recur in every advice are not changed here; Swing IQ does that.
A note for your student
Besides polishing an advice text you can add your own note to the swing, for example what you will practise in the next lesson. Your student sees it as a separate card "From your pro": on the web behind the note button at the player, in the app at the top of the picture. A note stays when the advice is regenerated. You remove it with the same button. Whether the card exists depends on the settings of your subscription.
