Making marks on a swing

Draw a line or put a text on a moment in the swing, and remove it again.

iPhone · Android

With a mark you point something out at one moment in the swing: a line along your back, a circle around your hands, a short text. The mark belongs to that moment and comes into view when the video is there.

Making a mark

  1. Go to the moment in the swing that it is about.
  2. Tap the pencil at the top left, below the cross. The video is paused and the drawing bar appears at the bottom.
  3. Choose a tool: Line for a straight line, Free to draw freehand, or Text for a text.
  4. Choose a colour and draw on the image. For a text, tap the spot, type your note and tap Place.
  5. Tap Done to go back to the player.

There is no button to save. Every line and every text is saved as soon as it is on the image.

Removing a mark

  • Undo in the drawing bar removes the last mark you made during this visit to the player.
  • A text of your own can still be removed later: tap the numbered pin, expand the card and tap Delete. You are not asked to confirm.
  • A line from an earlier visit cannot be removed in the app yet.

Seeing marks again

  • During playback a mark briefly comes into view at its own moment. If automatic pause is on, the video stops there.
  • You see a text as a numbered pin. Tap it to read the text and to see who wrote it.
  • The moments with a mark are indicated in the filmstrip.

Good to know

  • A text is always orange. The colour you choose applies to lines.
  • It also works without a connection. The mark goes to the server as soon as you have a connection again.
  • A video holds 100 marks, from everyone together.
  • Do you want to see the video without marks? Under Settings, turn off the Marks on the video switch. The pencil then disappears too. That choice applies only on this device.
