Sync now: full or only differences

What the sync card shows, when to sync yourself, and the difference between "only differences" and "full again".

The app fetches your swings — video, keypoints, steps and advice — to your phone, so you can view them without a connection too. That happens automatically: when you sign in and then every quarter of an hour while the app is open. The Synchronization card shows how things stand.

The status

  • Offline ready — everything from your account is on this device.
  • Syncing — a download is in progress; the bar counts the files.
  • Not synced — something is still missing, for example because a download failed. The line below says how many.
  • No server connection — no connection; what's already there keeps working.

Below that is when it was last synced.

Syncing yourself

Tap Sync now and choose:

  • Differences only — fetches only what has been added or changed since last time. This is what the app does itself too; choose this if you don't want to wait for the next round.
  • Fetch everything again — throws away the local package and fetches everything again. Choose this if a swing won't open, a video is missing or the status stays stuck on not synced. It takes time and data, depending on how many swings you have.

Good to know

  • Syncing only concerns what comes from the server to your phone. New recordings and changes you made without a connection go the other way by themselves as soon as you have a connection again.
  • You only see this card with a subscription that includes manual sync. Automatic sync works on every subscription.
