Deleting is permanent. Nobody can bring a deleted swing back, not even SwingIQ.
What disappears
- The swing itself, with its comparison, its advice and its 3D view, if there is one.
- The video, but only if this was the last swing of that video. If there are still other swings on the same recording, the video stays. The confirmation question tells you which of the two it is.
- An extra golfer without swings. If this was the last swing of a golfer you added yourself, that golfer disappears too. The first golfer of your account always stays.
Your storage
Your storage limit counts videos, not swings. So a place only becomes free when the whole video is gone — with the last swing of that recording.
You cannot delete your best shot
If the swing is your best shot, deleting does not go through. Choose another best shot for that club first, or remove the star. After that the swing can be deleted.
Other devices and shared copies
- On your other devices the swing disappears at the next sync.
- If you shared the swing with someone and they accepted it, that person keeps their own copy. You do not delete that copy with this.
Without a connection
If you delete without a connection, the swing disappears from your list right away and the deletion is carried out as soon as there is a connection again. A swing that had not been uploaded yet is then gone completely right away.
