The advice for your swing

The advice panel, the sentence per step, the percentage and the story of your swing.

iPhone · Android

Besides the dots on the video, the player has four places where the advice is written out. What you see of it depends on your subscription.

The advice panel

On the left, below the pencil, is a button with three lines. Tap it and a card opens with the common thread of your swing, the summary and the focus points. For each piece of text you can say with the thumbs whether it is right; your pro can change the text. The card closes as soon as you play or drag.

One sentence per step

When the video pauses on a step with advice, one sentence for that step appears at the bottom: what you do differently at this step than in your best shot. Tap it and it is gone until the next stop.

The percentage

At the top right you see how closely this swing resembles your best shot. When you are paused on a step it is that step's percentage; otherwise the whole swing's. The colour says the same as the word next to it: green close, orange differs.

The story of your swing

At the end of the video, next to the replay button, there is a little book. Tap it and you read the whole swing in two or three sentences as cause and effect: what was different from your best shot, where that leads, and the likely result for the ball. If you noted yourself how the ball went, that is included. The story ends with one thing to try.

Good to know

  • Without a best shot for this club there is no comparison, and so no advice either.
  • The story says "likely": the app measures your posture, not the ball. What you noted yourself counts.
