You find it on Settings under Account → Change password, and in the account menu at the top right.
How it works
- Enter your current password.
- Choose a new password of at least 8 characters, different from the current one, and type it once more to confirm.
- Click save.
If the current password is wrong, or the new one doesn't meet the requirements, the page tells you what's wrong and nothing changes.
What happens afterwards
- On the site you sign in again. After saving you're logged out and land on the sign-in screen with a confirmation. Sign in with your new password.
- In the app you stay signed in. A running session on your phone doesn't end. Only when you have to sign in again there will you use the new password.
- You get an email saying your password has been changed. If that wasn't you, contact us immediately.
Good to know
- Forgotten your password? Use "Forgot your password?" on the sign-in screen of the site or the app; you don't need your old password for that. You'll get an email: on the site a link, in the app a six-digit code that is valid for fifteen minutes.
- There is no screen in the app to change your password while signed in: that is only possible here. Recovering a forgotten password does work in the app.
